Bojan Krstić

Biography

I graduated at the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts Belgrade in 2009. During my studies and since then, I have participated in a number of group exhibitions in Serbia, Greece and Austria. Among them I would mention the Spring Salons annually from 2008 – 2014, the Autumn Salons from 2008 – 2013, the exhibitions of The Serbian Association of Fine Arts and Artists and The Serbian Association of Applied Arts and Designers in 2011, The VI Biennial of Sculpture, BILDETAGE 10*Kunstmarkt and ARTmART - Künstlerhaus Wien in 2010. Exhibition of Serbian sculptors 2013 and 2014.

In 2009 I had a solo exhibition titled Birds in Belgrade. The Works Birds - Composition XIII, The Groom, The Bride, The Falcon, The Freedom Bird are commissioned sculptures for public space in various towns across Serbia. In 2009 I was awarded by the Faculty of Applied Arts in the field of Sculpture. Other notable awards would be a Jury’s Honourable Mention and the Public’s Award both at the Spring Salon and a Jury’s Honourable Mention for the Princess Olivera competition in Belgrade. I work in various sculpture media such as marble, wood, metal and terracotta.
